Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: email, name (optional), and Google profile ID if you sign in with Google.
• Content: your prompts, uploaded photos and generated pages, so you can find them again.
• Usage: a hashed IP address and a device cookie for free-credit limits and abuse prevention; basic server logs; and, if you consent, aggregated analytics about which pages are visited.
• Payments: handled by our payment partner (Creem or Stripe). We never see or store card numbers; we keep the order ID, amount and product.

Why

To run the service, prevent abuse of free credits, process payments, provide support and improve the product. We do not sell personal data and we do not show third-party ads.

AI providers

To generate images we send your prompt and, in photo mode, your uploaded photo to an image-generation API provider under a data-processing agreement. Providers do not use this data to train models where the provider offers that option, and we select such options.

Retention

Uploaded photos are deleted 30 days after upload. Generated pages are kept while your account exists. Guest generations are kept for 30 days. You can delete pages or your whole account at any time from your dashboard or by emailing hello@crayonowl.com.

Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are always set: a session cookie, a guest identifier and your language preference. With your consent we also use Google Analytics to see how the site is used; if you decline, analytics runs without cookies and stores no identifier on your device. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. We do not show third-party ads.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA and similar), you can access, export, correct or delete your data. Email hello@crayonowl.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Photos of children uploaded by a parent are processed only to generate the page and deleted after 30 days.
